My Fitness Coach (operated in Spanish as Mi Coach Fit) is an AI-powered training and nutrition app. This notice describes what personal data we collect, why we use it, and how you can exercise your rights, in line with Mexico’s Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (LFPDPPP).

By creating an account and using the service, you accept the processing of your personal data under the terms of this notice.

Data controller

The controller of your personal data is My Fitness Coach, which operates micoachfit.com and mypersonalcoach.fit. For anything related to this notice, write to soporte@micoachfit.com.

Personal data we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide the service:

  • Account data: your name and your email address.
  • Usage data: your workout routines and sessions, logged meals and menus, weight, body measurements, and progress.
  • Payment data: payments are processed directly by Stripe; we do not store card numbers or bank details. We only keep transaction identifiers and the status of your subscription or purchase.
  • AI content: the messages and instructions (prompts) you send to generate routines or menus, and the generated responses.

Purposes of processing

We use your personal data to:

  • Create and manage your account.
  • Provide the app’s features: logging workouts, meals, and progress.
  • Generate personalized routines and menus using artificial intelligence.
  • Process payments, subscriptions, and generation packs through Stripe.
  • Provide support and notify you of important changes to the service.

Your rights (ARCO)

You have the right to access, rectify, and delete your personal data, and to object to its processing (the ARCO rights under Mexican law). You may also withdraw your consent at any time.

To exercise these rights, send your request to soporte@micoachfit.com from the email address associated with your account, stating which right you want to exercise. We will respond within the timeframes established by law.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies and browser local storage only to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences, such as language and theme. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.

Data transfers

To operate the service we share data with providers that process it on our behalf. We never sell or rent your personal data to third parties.

  • Stripe, which processes payments and handles your card data.
  • AI providers, which receive your prompts to generate routines and menus.
  • Infrastructure providers hosting the application and its database.

Data retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data within a reasonable period, except for data we must keep to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

Changes to this notice

We may update this notice to reflect changes in the service or the law. The current version will always be published on this page with its last-updated date. If a change is significant, we will notify you in the app or by email.
